Terms and Conditions for Vehicle Wrap Services
1. Agreement to Terms By accepting a quotaion from DAS Signs Ltd. the client agrees to the following terms and conditions regarding the vehicle wrap services provided by DAS Signs Ltd..
2. Vehicle Condition and Preparation
- The client is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is clean and free from wax, dirt, oil, rust, and other contaminants before drop-off.
- The company is not responsible for defects in the wrap application caused by an unclean or damaged vehicle surface.
- Any necessary paint correction, rust removal, or bodywork must be completed prior to wrapping.
- Further information regarding preparation will be supplied upon “Drop-off” of your vehicle or within the initial inspection undertaken before a quotation is agreed.
3. Wrap Design and Approval
- DAS Signs will provide a digital proof of the wrap design for client approval.
- DAS Signs offer 2 sets of amendments free of charge. Please make sure all required amendments are included within a single email. Additional amendments made after the two free sets will be subject to amendment fees of £35(+VAT) per amendment. Any Amendments that are required as a result of a misunderstanding of instruction from DAS Signs will not be charged. DAS Signs is not responsible for ensuring that customer supplied documents are correct. Documents supplied from customers to DAS Signs are presumed to be “Gospel” and will not be put through automatic spell checking programmes.Even though DAS Signs will make their best efforts to ensure no spelling or grammatical errors fall through the cracks, it is unfortunately inevitable. DAS Signs type in excess of 100 documents per day and Human errors can occur.
Please give a final read over all of the text within your artwork. This includes Phone numbers, email addresses, block text, spelling and grammar. When you “Sign Off” an artwork, you are not only confirming the visuals, you are also confirming that all of the text and textual elements are correct. These final visuals will not be checked again after “Sign Off,” these same files will go directly to production. As such any artwork errors that are noted after “Sign Off” and during the printing process fall upon the customer and are subject to the charges laid out in the quoting stage. DAS Signs will not cover any costs incurred after “Sign Off.”
4. Installation and Completion
- The company will make every effort to complete the wrap within the estimated timeframe, but delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.
- The client acknowledges that small imperfections may be present in the final installation due to the nature of the vinyl wrapping process.
- More information is provided within your Pre-Installation checklist, which will be supplied to you either within your initial vehicle inspection or upon “Drop-off.”
5. Warranty and Maintenance
- The wrap is covered under a 1 year warranty against material defects and installation errors.
- The warranty does not cover damage due to improper maintenance, accidents, weather conditions, or negligence.
- The client must follow proper maintenance guidelines, including hand-washing the vehicle and avoiding high-pressure washes.
- More information is provided within your Pre-Installation checklist, which will be supplied to you either within your initial vehicle inspection or upon “Drop-off.
6. Removal and Liability
- The company is not responsible for any damage to the vehicle’s paint or body during wrap removal if the paint was in poor condition before wrapping.
- If wrap removal is required, the client may request this service at an additional charge.
7. Payments and Deposits
- Payment in full must be made before production can begin.
8. Indemnification The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the company from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from the use of the wrapped vehicle.
9. Governing Law This agreement shall be governed by the laws of The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
